Often our clients are curious about a type of occupation or a factory where their ancestors worked. We can research the details of companies, businesses, trades and related subjects such as trade unions or guilds which may help you to understand a bit more about what it was like working in a mill or down a coal mine and what the employers were like. Document Research

Genealogus offers a document research service. If our clients require or wish us to locate a specific document, we can travel to the location and do research on site. This could be speculative research or it could be to locate, transcribe or obtain copies of documents which are known to be in that location.
